Mahi Madness: 4-Hour Offshore Adventure in Palm Beach Waters

We had a great day out on the water with Rachel and their crew for our 4 Hour Fishing Adventure with Tuna Wahoo Charters. June is a fantastic time for offshore fishing in West Palm Beach, with warm waters bringing in plenty of big game fish. We met up at Riviera Beach City Marina at 7:30 am, ready to hit the deep blue. The weather was partly cloudy, with a chance of storms, but that didn't dampen our spirits one bit.

As we headed out, I set us up for some trolling to start. The water conditions were great, which always makes for good fishing. We tried a mix of techniques throughout the day - trolling, deep-sea bottom fishing, and even some kite fishing. It's always fun to switch things up and see what works best. The highlight of the trip came when we hooked into a nice Mahi Mahi. It put up a good fight, but Rachel reeled it in like a pro. Measured out at 15 inches - not bad at all for a half-day trip!

Even when the fish weren't biting, we had a blast out there. The partly cloudy sky made for some nice views of the coastline, and we saw a bunch of flying fish skipping across the waves. That's one of the best parts of these trips - you never know what you'll see out there. We kept at it, trying different spots and depths, always on the lookout for that next big catch.
